Introduction to Horses

Elizabeth Park and Recreation is partnering with Connections Through Horses to offer horse back riding lessons to youth in the community.

Unmounted and mounted horse basics

Age 6-14

4-Week Sessions, Mondays, starting April 6th

4:30pm-5:45pm or 6:00pm-7:15pm

$300 per participant

I am a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship certified riding instructor (16 years).  Also I am CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) certified  to teach both English and Western Riding.    My focus is teaching students safety around horses but also taking advantage of all of the amazing other lessons that horses teach students to help them become more resilient, respectful and confident.   My assistants also either have certifications or are working towards certifications and have the same teaching style.
