Playground Improvements

The Park Board has allocated funds for 2018 to improve the playground at Casey Jones Park.  In addition to replacing the pea gravel surfacing with playground mulch, new pieces of equipment will be added including an Aztec Climber, Standing Spinner, and an Inclined Vortex Net.     

Disc-Golf Course

A new disc-golf course is being developed within Evans Park and will be available for use by Spring!  The Park Office will have sets of discs available (during business hours) for use by anyone wanting to try this challenging and fun activity.  Any experienced disc-golfers interested in assisting with course design, please give us a call at 303.646.3599.   .

Cancelation and Late Registration Practices:
Youth sports &/or program registration fees due in full at time of registration.

Adult program fees due in full at time of registration.

Late fees:
Late Registration; additional $10 per registration if paid beyond end of registration period, provided there is space in the program.  If no space is available in the program, late registrations will not be accepted.

District Cancelation of program or event;
Notification given prior to start date / time, and full refund of all registration fees paid.

Individual request for refund;
Full refund given up until registration close date less 5% processing fee.
After registration close date, cancelation fee is $15.

After first class / session, no refunds will be given. Refunds may be provided as account credit based upon customer preference.

Account Credit is non-refundable after processing.

June 25 – 29, 2018      Da Vinci Week

This week is jam-packed with all things Da Vinci!  Come and find out all about his amazing inventions, machines, and artwork.  You will be able to create a Da Vinci helicopter, experiment with making your own paint, construct a working trebuchet and many other projects. At the end of each day you will take home some great projects you built yourself!


June 11 – 15, 2018      All Things Science

Join us as we explore exciting experiments and activities involving chemical reactions, cool edible science, outdoor science lab, electricity, forces, motion and energy. Use the sun to cook up a fun, tasty snack, experiment with electrical circuits, and find out what a water screw is and lots more! Each day you will be able to take home a cool project or activity.

July 23 – 27, 2018       All Things Science 2

Each day this week will be full of super cool experiments with magnetism, light and color, air, and chemistry.  We’ll construct the world’s simplest motor, create crystal landscapes and much more.  And as always, you’ll get to take something awesome home each day!

July 9 – 13, 2018         Engineering Week

PLAN…SOLVE…CREATE is the name of the game this week as we dive into engineering. Design a marble roller coaster, experiment with constructing a load-bearing bridge, and discover how to protect an egg from being smashed. We have many more challenging activities this week as we plan, solve, and create.  You’ll be able to take something fun home each day.
