Playground Improvements

The Park Board has allocated funds for 2018 to improve the playground at Casey Jones Park.  In addition to replacing the pea gravel surfacing with playground mulch, new pieces of equipment will be added including an Aztec Climber, Standing Spinner, and an Inclined Vortex Net.

Disc-Golf Course

A new disc-golf course is being developed within Evans Park and will be available for use by Spring!  The Park Office will have sets of discs available (during business hours) for use by anyone wanting to try this challenging and fun activity.  Any experienced disc-golfers interested in assisting with course design, please give us a call at 303.646.3599.   .

The first weekend in June, this event is an Elizabeth tradition going back to 1965. With this being the first stop for some of best rodeo names it is sure to please. This is a great event for anyone ages 1-100.


The first day begins with the Cowboy Parade that winds its way through the Town of Elizabeth. This part of the festival includes many vendors to browse to get your cowboy gear before the rodeo begins. After the parade all participants find their way down to the arena where the competition begins.

Each day has different events and some discounts are given for military service members / veterans.
