All Sports Youth Day at Coors Field!

Come watch the Colorado Rockies take on the San Diego Padres on Sunday, September 17th at 1:10pm! If your child wears their Elizabeth Park and Rec jersey, they will be able to walk the warning track before the first pitch! Lower Level tickets $20! (face value $32)

Star Wars Rogue One 

on September 16th at Evans Park! Festivities will begin at 6pm with fun kids games, music, and bouncy house! Movie will begin at dusk!

Bluegrass Music Camp!

Musical program teaching sounds, rhythms, songs, folk dances, musical history, musical crafts. Students do not need to play an acoustic instrument but if they do play, they are invited to bring their instruments. Rhythm instruments will be provided. Camp will be on July 24 and 25 from 10am-3pm in the Casey Jones Pavilion! PLEASE BRING A LUNCH!

American Sign Language

Ages 8 and Up!

Cost: $75 for 6 week session, includes supplies.

Arts and Culture

Elizabeth Park and Rec is offering American sign language classes starting in May 2017! Come and enjoy learning this expressive language in a fun environment!

Sign language is the 3rd most used language in the United Sates, why not learn the basics! At the last session, you will demonstrate the skills you have learned to your friends and family!

Alison Voiles, the instructor, has worked as an Interpreter for the Deaf and the Deaf and Blind after receiving her degree in Communications for the Deaf. She would like to share her talents with the Elizabeth community!

Pottery Class

Ages 16 and up!

Cost: $30 for 6 week session, includes supplies.

Ages 8-14, Tuesdays 3:30-4:30

Ages 15 and up, Tuesdays 5-6pm

Location: Casey Jones Pavilion

Session begins May 30th

Each session is one class a week on Thursdays for 6 weeks! Next session will begin June 8th with registration opening May 15th.

Classes will focus on all kinds of hand building techniques such as :

  • Pinch pots
  • Slab methods
  • and more...

Ms. Teresa, the instructor, is a retired art teacher of 22 years. She has dedicated her life to the arts and wants to share her talents with the Elizabeth community! Class costs cover all supplies needed. Register now!
