Adoption 5K Fun Run

Thanks to all who came out and ran the course and supported the Telman Family with their adoption process!

The District held its first 5K in Evans Park, and despite the rainy weather, over 30 participants showed up to run the course.  The  2-lap trail run meandered throughout the park and course records were established for future runners to chase.

Please Pick-Up Your Dog Waste.

As you will notice, the District has installed new pet waste stations throughout the parks.  While we love dogs as much as you, please help keep the parks clean of dog waste and pick up after your pet.  And remember, no dogs are allowed on athletic fields.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Park Board Moves Forward with Splashpad Project!

At its June meeting, the Board voted unanimously to begin the design process and purchase a new splashpad for Evans Park to provide residents with some much needed wet and cool relief from the summer heat.  The District is working with Aquatix, a leading manufacturer in the industry, and looks forward to offering this exciting new park amenity to the community.  Click here to see the design:
